Look how precious Miss Lily is, her mommy says some sweet things about her baby girl –

What did you think when you first felt your baby move?  I thought I was extremely gassy. It felt like a bunch of bubbles at first.

What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby?  There are no words to describe the love that i felt the moment she was born. She is true perfection.

What three words best describe your child?  Lovable, Happy and Tiny. 

What songs do you sing to your baby?  I sang anything that came on K105 to my little one. 

What books do you read to your baby?  We mostly read my school books together, but the last month of my pregnancy I read a lot of Dr.Seuss books to Lilly and we still read the Dr.Seuss books.

Does your baby have any nicknames? Where did they come from?  Lillybug is her nickname. I was known as Kelseybug when I was a baby and it seemed fitting. 

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?  The most challenging part was learning what she needed/ wanted every time she cried. The most rewarding part would have to be the smiles she gives you even when you feel you are failing. 

Was there anything you absolutely could not stand while you were pregnant?  I was constantly nauseous regardless what I ate and that was probably the absolute worst.

Did you have any cravings while you were pregnant?  I craved anything sweet. My biggest craving was hot fudge sundaes from McDonalds.

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal?  We found out the gender of our little one at 13 weeks. We announced it on Facebook Live with her Grandma opening a box with a Lilly and Rose which stood for Lillian Rose.

What was the best reaction you got when you shared that you were expecting?  My Husband’s mom found out we were pregnant at her birthday dinner and she bawled like a baby because she thought she would never get the chance to be a grandma. 

How did you tell your family that you were expecting?  We surprised my dad and Tyler’s family about the baby and then announced it on Facebook that we were expecting.

Did anything funny/unexpected happened since your baby came home?  My child is an expert at peeing and pooping on everyone. She has managed to poop across her bedroom while on the changing table already. 

How does your baby sleep at night?  My baby is the best sleeper at night. She usually wakes up twice at the most. 

What milestones has your baby reached?  My little one has started smiling on her own!

What is your favorite part of being a parent?  I love knowing that I created a human being that is absolutely perfect.

What is your child’s favorite and/or least favorite food?  Breast milk is her favorite!

What is your child’s favorite thing to do?  She loves to be held and coo at her mommy and daddy. 

Can you tell us a funny or memorable story about your birth experience?  I was induced and I was in labor for 26 hours. I dilated from 5 1/2cm to 10cm in about an hour. When the nurse announced that it was time to push no one believed her because I had been dilating so slowly. 

How did your child get their name?  It was a name both my husband and myself loved.
