What did you think when you first felt your baby move?  Ahhh!!! 3 kids?!?

What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby?  I am so in love, can’t believe it’s a girl! She was meant to be the last installment of our family.

What three words best describe your child?  Laid-back, sweet, and easy-going

What songs do you sing to your baby?  You are my sunshine!

What books do you read to your baby?  Little Gorilla and Goodnight Moon.

Does your baby have any nicknames? Where did they come from?  Rona, her first name shortened.

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?  Sick family!!! Most rewarding is feeling like she has always been here, she’s the perfect fit for our family.

Was there anything you absolutely could not stand while you were pregnant?  Bacon!

Did you have any cravings while you were pregnant?  Ice and Madeleine cookies from Costco. 

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal?  No! Total surprise when she hatched out.

How did you tell your family that you were expecting?  Gradually…

How did your other children react when they met their new sibling?  Love at first site! Monty sang to her and said cute things, like “who’s the best girl in town” and called her sweetheart – Morrison is so gentle w “baby Rona”.

If your baby has siblings, how did they respond when they found out they would be getting a new sibling?  Monty at least was thrilled, Morrison didn’t have a clue what we were talking about. Monty wanted to name her Oscar if she’d have been a boy. 

Did anything funny/unexpected happened since your baby came home?  Just lots of sick!!! 

How does your baby sleep at night?  Amazing. Best out of the 3! 4 hour chunks right off the bat. Love her to death for this gift to mama!

What milestones has your baby reached?  10 lbs 🙂 

What is your favorite part of being a parent?  Watching my kids look out for each other and laugh together.

What is your child’s favorite and/or least favorite food?  Fave food is mama’s milk!

What is your child’s favorite thing to do?  Sleep:)

Can you tell us a funny or memorable story about your birth experience?  Contractions started at 4:30am, Verona made her appearance about 4 hours later at 8:35a, water birth at home, amazing experience. My favorite part was pulling her out of the water, finding out she was a little girl that whole time:)

How did your child get their name?  Family name – my great aunt “tuts” was names Verona, it is also a coffee at Starbucks which is where Josh and I met and worked together for years.
