What did you think when you first felt your baby move?  He kicked a lot harder than his sister did when I was pregnant with her!

What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby?  That he looked just like his big sister. 

What three words best describe your child?  Laid back, snuggly, and adorable! 

What songs do you sing to your baby?  You are my sunshine!

What books do you read to your baby?  Happy Dogs! Mad Mama! and Home for a Bunny!

Does your baby have any nicknames?   Zehr-bear. 

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?  Transitioning from one kiddo to two has been the most challenging and also the most rewarding part! We all love him so much and the adjustment hasn’t been the easiest, but it’s been so great!

Was there anything you absolutely could not stand while you were pregnant?  Cottage cheese (which was my number one craving during my pregnancy with our daughter). 

Did you have any cravings while you were pregnant?  Pizza (and not even the good stuff—I craved frozen pizza)

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal?  Yes! We did the reveal at our daughter’s birthday party. The first gift she opened was a blue stuffed animal. 

What was the best reaction you got when you shared that you were expecting?  I told my husband on his birthday, so that was really special. I made him a shirt that had “Dadx2” written on it. 

How did you tell your family that you were expecting?  We showed them the shirt that I made my for husband’s birthday. 

How did your other children react when they met their new sibling?  She seemed a little shocked at first but warmed up to him pretty quickly!

If your baby has siblings, how did they respond when they found out they would be getting a new sibling?  She was excited and loved to talk about him and kiss mommy’s tummy. 

Did anything funny/unexpected happened since your baby came home?  He makes the funniest little faces when he sleeps. 

How does your baby sleep at night?  He’s a rock star sleeper! 

What milestones has your baby reached?  He’s super strong and already trying to lift his head.

What is your favorite part of being a parent?  Getting to see your child’s personality develop and grow!

What is your child’s favorite and/or least favorite food?  Milk!

What is your child’s favorite thing to do?  Sleep!

Can you tell us a funny or memorable story about your birth experience?  We went to the hospital and they sent us home. An hour and a half later, we were back and I was 8 cm already. 

How did your child get their name?  It’s definitely different for a first name, but we both really liked it!
