How did you announce your pregnancy?  We told close friends and family in person and then posted a picture on social media of both of us holding a Christmas onesie in the same spot that we took wedding photos at a few months earlier.

What did you think when you first felt your baby move?  Since it was my first pregnancy I wasn’t sure if it was actually her moving but once I felt it a few more times I realized it was her and was so excited!

What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby? I couldn’t believe that we were lucky enough to be her parents!

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?  The complete lack of sleep, but when I am up in the middle of the night feeding her and she looks up at me, it makes everything worth it.

Did you experience any cravings while pregnant?  I craved sweets all of the time, especially ice cream!

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal?   Yes, we had close friends and family come over for a gender reveal party and had everyone pop their own balloon with pink confetti in them.

How did you select your baby’s name?  Layla was a name that I’ve loved since junior high and lucky Chase really liked the name too.
