What three words best describe your child?

Precious, petite, perfect! (We’re partial!:)

How did your child get their name?

My husband and I couldn’t agree on any names – but I saw Teagan and loved it. He hated it…so, I said what about Reagan? 

What did you think when you first felt your baby move?

Is this really what I think it is? Is this my babe moving??

What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby?

Oh my goodness – it really looks like a baby!!

What songs do you sing to your baby?

Crazy, nonsensical songs that I make up on the spot, complete with made up words

What books do you read to your baby?

The classics – but I plan to incorporate some math text book reading, as I really want Reagan to grow up loving and understanding math (unlike her momma!).

 

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal?

Yes – we found out at around 12 weeks because my husband is type A and needed to know. The doctors called me and I brought home pink cupcakes as a surprise!

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?

The sleep deprivation is so real!!! But having her home in our arms makes it all worth while!

Was there anything you absolutely could not stand while you were pregnant?

Yes! Being the DD!!

Did you have any cravings while you were pregnant?

This is so gross…but any sour gummy candy.

 

Did anything funny/unexpected happened since your baby came home?

Oh you know – just the poopy blowouts shooting across the nursery wall. Pretty normal stuff.

How does your baby sleep at night?

Wait. Babies sleep at night???

How did your other children react when they met their new sibling?

Well, the dog children were very curious and loved sniffing her and licking her head!

If your baby has siblings, how did they respond when they found out they would be getting a new sibling?

They were pretty dog-gone excited! Haha, I hope Reagan inherits my wit and humor!

What is your favorite part of being a parent?

Knowing I get to keep my precious baby angel forever and ever!!

What is your child’s favorite thing to do?

Be adorable…because she does it allllll the time!

Can you tell us a funny or memorable story about your birth experience?

During my 17 hour labor my mom, dad, sister and husband were all in the room with me sleeping and snoring while I was laying WIDE AWAKE because um, hello! I was having a baby!!!
