Charlotte is a welcomed addition to this beautiful family!  Her mommy is going to tell us some wonderful things about her –

Baby’s Birth Stats: (First name, Length & Weight only)  Charlotte, 10/3, 6lbs 9oz, 20 in.

How did you announce your pregnancy?  Family and friends first, then Facebook post with my daughter Brooklyn wearing a “big sister” shirt!

What did you think when you first felt your baby move?  Confirmation that there’s a baby in there! It always made my heart happy to feel all the flutters and eventually kicks as gentle reminders she was in there and thriving.

What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby?  That she looked like her sister, my heart doubled in size when they put her on my chest.

Does your baby have any nicknames? Where did they come from? Charly, she was named after my father-in-law who passed away of a heart attack.

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?  Adjusting life with two kids, managing to give everyone the time and attention they need. Most rewarding is watching my first daughter hug and acknowledge her new baby sister.

Did you experience any cravings while pregnant?  Chipotle and Panera.

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal?  Yes. Did a early sneak peak blood test then confirmation at ultrasound with my husband. No gender reveal party.

Share a funny or memorable moment from your birth experience:  My husband telling me behind the c-section drape “She’s perfect”!

How did you select your baby’s name?  Charlotte, nickname of Charly, in remembrance of my father-in-law.

What is one piece of advice you would give expecting parents?  Have no expectations! Enjoy the moments, it goes by so fast!
