These sisters are have sure grown a TON since I photographed them as newborns! I was really excited when their mom called me for birthday portraits (Grayson-3, Greenley-1) We did two shoots: one with both girls in the studio, and Greenley had an outdoor session on her own. (Can’t wait to post these pics!)

All of my usual tricks were not working with Greenley for this session. This usually happy, smiley girl refused to crack a grin. Her sister, on the other hand, was full of smiles 🙂 At the end of the session we tried a lollipop–a sure thing right?! Oh no, Miss Greenley enjoyed her sucker with a completely straight face! I love it though, sometimes serious faces create some of the most timeless portraits.
