Baby’s Birth Stats: (First name, Length & Weight only)  Laikyn, 8/4/19, 5lbs 4oz, 18 3/4 in.

How did you announce your pregnancy?  To family: a onesie that said “littlest Jaeger” , To everyone else: a pink balloon on an empty beach chair in Florida with her sisters sitting on separate chairs.

What did you think when you first felt your baby move?  I knew what to expect, but it still amazed me that I was having another little one. I just wanted to feel it nonstop!

What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby?  This is really happening! It’s one of the best sounds in the world hearing the first sound of heartbeats.

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?  The most challenging is feeling that I can divide my love between all my girls. The most rewarding is seeing and feeling how loved she is!

Did you experience any cravings while pregnant?  Everything sweet!

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal? Yes! We had all the siblings and cousins pop black balloons with either pink or blue confetti. Whichever color added to six first was the gender!

Share a funny or memorable moment from your birth experience:  My mom laughs at how different of a person I was immediately after the epidural. I was much more talkative and happy!

How did you select your baby’s name?  We wanted to keep a -yn at the end of her name to match her sisters. After HOURS of searching I came across Laikyn, and we all fell in love with it!

What is one piece of advice you would give expecting parents?  Not everyone parents the same. Do what YOU feel is right for your child and family!
