What did you think when you first felt your baby move?  I was happy.

What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby?  She was so big and had so much hair. And she looked so much like her middle sister when she was first born! 

What three words best describe your child?  Sweet, alert and big!

What songs do you sing to your baby?  Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, a favorite of her big sister.

Does your baby have any nicknames? Where did they come from?  Peepers because she opens her eyes so much. 

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?  Managing life being outnumbered by kids is the most challenging. Most rewarding has been seeing how much how much they have grown.

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal?  Yes. And we waited to announce our pregnancy until we found out the gender since it was our last baby. 

What was the best reaction you got when you shared that you were expecting?  Everyone feels bad for Josh because we have all girls. He love his little ladies though! They are all daddy’s girls! 

How did you tell your family that you were expecting?  We told them in person.

How did your other children react when they met their new sibling?  They are little so they were very curious about her. Both love her so much. Our middle little says “baby” every time she sees her. 

If your baby has siblings, how did they respond when they found out they would be getting a new sibling?  Not a huge reaction. They are too little. 

How does your baby sleep at night?  Pretty good. Up once in the middle of the night but that’s it. 

What milestones has your baby reached?  Not too much yet. Just smiling from time to time and very alert. 

What is your favorite part of being a parent?  Watching them learn something new.

What is your child’s favorite and/or least favorite food?  Milk, of course.

What is your child’s favorite thing to do?  Sleep.

Can you tell us a funny or memorable story about your birth experience?  No one had any idea she was the size she was. She was one ounce short of 9 pounds and she pooped and peed on the way out. So if she would have kept it in she would have been 9 pounds or more! 

How did your child get their name?  We chose her initials first PHD. Then we came up with the name to match those. It was actually her middle sisters back up name.
