What did you think when you first felt your baby move? It was the best feeling in the world! I selfishly thought that this was a bond we shared between the two of us.

What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby?  We can’t believe she’s finally here!  She’s the most beautiful baby girl we have ever seen.

What three words best describe your child?  Beautiful, hungry and smiles.

What songs do you sing to your baby?  Sweet pea.

Does your baby have any nicknames? Where did they come from?  Mamacita.  In Mexico,  It’s used as a term of endearment for a little girl. 

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?  The challenging part is changing her diapers without getting peed or pooped on. 

The rewarding part is that our little family is now complete! 

Was there anything you absolutely could not stand while you were pregnant?  Not at all, she was an easy pregnancy!

Did you have any cravings while you were pregnant?  Any sweets!  Ice cream, cookies, cake, donuts and the list goes on!

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal?  Yes!  I’m too much of a planner not to find out.  Our gender reveal party theme was “twinkle, twinkle little star, how we wonder what you are”.

How did you tell your family that you were expecting?  We put plastic babies in the champagne glasses when we did our New Years toast.

How did your other children react when they met their new sibling?  Big brother was so excited to meet her and feed her the bottle!

If your baby has siblings, how did they respond when they found out they would be getting a new sibling?  He was so excited to be a big brother and a big helper!

How does your baby sleep at night?  Some nights we get 3-4 hours straight but some nights she’s our alarm clock, every 2 hours.

What is your favorite part of being a parent?  Seeing the unconditional love our babies have for us.

What is your child’s favorite thing to do?  Eat!!

Can you tell us a funny or memorable story about your birth experience?  My 1st pregnancy was an emergency c-section where I got completely sedated and didn’t know what went on.  This time around, listening to everything that was going to happen, had me a nervous wreck.  I walked into the OR and told the doctor I couldn’t do this and I didn’t know how they were going to get this baby out.
