How did Mom tell Dad she was expecting?  We were trying, so I started testing very early. I showed him each test and tried to get him to see the very, very faint lines.

What were your first thoughts after seeing your baby? (both mom and dad)  We kept the sex a surprise, so when I saw her I kept asking if she was really a girl.  Both of us were convinced we were having a boy.

What is the favorite part of your baby? (i.e long eyelashes, tiny toes)  Her long fingers.

How have your first days at home with baby been?  Stressful! I miss the hospital because it was relaxing compared to coming home to two additional children who are rambunctious and excited to see their sibling.

What has been the funniest thing to happen to you since you brought the baby home?  She pees every time we change her diaper.  I thought that boys were the only ones to do that!

If your baby has siblings, how did they respond in meeting the baby?  Laura wants to hold the baby ALL. THE. TIME.  It is the first thing she asks to do when she wakes up and the last thing she asks to do before bed.

Tell us a little about your family…  We have been married for 7 years. Our oldest, Grant, has severe developmental disabilities.  Laura is 3 and she has already had practice being a sister!!
