What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby?  He looks so much like his sister.

What three words best describe your child?  Snuggly, lovable and cute

What songs do you sing to your baby?  Mainly Christmas songs so far.

What books do you read to your baby?  Mo Willems and Captain America books.

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?  Balancing a toddler and a newborn and seeing the two interact.   Gladys just loves her brother.

Did you have any cravings while you were pregnant?  Ice water-  I always hated it before!

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal?  We found out what we were having but didn’t have a special reveal.

How did you tell your family that you were expecting?  We told them over dinner.

How did your other children react when they met their new sibling?  Happy and excited.

If your baby has siblings, how did they respond when they found out they would be getting a new sibling?  Gladys was overjoyed!

How does your baby sleep at night?  Pretty great for a newborn.

What milestones has your baby reached?  He survived his first week!

What is your favorite part of being a parent?  Watching them change and learn new things.

What is your child’s favorite thing to do?  Drink milk.

Can you tell us a funny or memorable story about your birth experience?  He cried right away!  With my first,  she didn’t cry.  Being a first time parent, you only know what you’ve seen on movies or people have told you.  So, I was worried something was wrong.  With him, he cried right away and I was much more relaxed.

How did your child get their name?  Ellis we just liked the name.  Francis- after my dad’s Middle name and Saint Francis.  We love his respect for nature and preservation of the environment.
