Abigail is so precious and tiny! What an adorable little bundle of  joy!!  See the sweet things her mommy says about her –

What did you think when you first felt your baby move?  I was in disbelief. After a decade long infertility struggle,  I couldn’t believe I was finally feeling my baby move inside me. It is such a special experience!

What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby?  That she looked like her daddy. It was true love at first sight. 

What three words best describe your child?  Alert, Girlie and Smart.

What songs do you sing to your baby?  Country songs. 

Does your baby have any nicknames?  Abigail Cottontail and Crabby Abby.

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?  Having my husband go back to work when we both just want to be with her all day everyday has probably been the most challenging part of bringing Abigail home. The most rewarding has been seeing our house transform into a home with baby things everywhere! 

Was there anything you absolutely could not stand while you were pregnant?  Pickles!

Did you have any cravings while you were pregnant?  Cinnamon rolls and apples with nutella. 

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal?  Yes!  We filled balloons with pink confetti and popped them to reveal. 

What was the best reaction you got when you shared that you were expecting?  My mom cried. It was the best news for my family since this was such a long struggle and Abigail is the first grandchild. 

How did you tell your family that you were expecting?  We created a heart out of all of my IVF needles with 2 pregnancy tests and a onesie that says “Worth the Wait” on the inside. We took a picture of this and sent it to all of our family. 

Did anything funny/unexpected happened since your baby came home?  We discovered that she likes to pee on her Mama!

How does your baby sleep at night?  She’s such a great sleeper with 4 hour stretches. 

What milestones has your baby reached?  She lifts her head to look at mommy and daddy. 

What is your favorite part of being a parent?  My favorite part of being a mom is getting to look at this beautiful little girl all day and be so blessed that God picked me to be her mama!

What is your child’s favorite thing to do?  Eat and smile!

Can you tell us a funny or memorable story about your birth experience?  Abigail didn’t want to come out!  I labored for 2 days before I had to have a c section to get her to join us!

How did your child get their name?  We had picked out Abigail years ago and decided to give her my middle name.
