Micah’s mommy has some fun things to share about her only little girl –

What did you think when you first felt your baby move?  Reassurance that she was in there.

What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby?  Wow. She looks so much like her brother, Mateo.

What three words best describe your child?  Tiny and Adorable.

What songs do you sing to your baby?  Red, Red Robin. Which is a song my Grandma taught me when I little.

What books do you read to your baby?  Good night Moon. Cat in the Hat, little Critters, Berenstein bears.

Does your baby have any nicknames? Where did they come from?  Moo.  One day I just called her Micah Moo and I stuck.

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?  Having two under two!  Oh boy, it is not for the weak!  She was the missing piece to our family, now we are complete.

Did you have any cravings while you were pregnant?  CRUSHED ICE. I couldn’t get enough of it (my iron was low)

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal?  We did. On kiddo #3, no special reveal. Just a Mass Text Message.

What was the best reaction you got when you shared that you were expecting?  My Dad said “ you’re kidding me, Mateo is only 13mos old”.

How did your other children react when they met their new sibling?  Cash immediately wanted to hold her and move on her.  Mateo just pointed at her and said “baby” and then wanted down to play.

If your baby has siblings, how did they respond when they found out they would be getting a new sibling?  Cash who is 7, was excited but was super bummed to find out it was a girl.  Mateo has no clue what was going on. Lol

Did anything funny/unexpected happened since your baby came home?  Neither of my boys ever had blow outs or pooped in the bath. She has done those things over and over. She is by far the stinkiest Of all my kiddos.

How does your baby sleep at night?  She’s amazing.  She wakes to eat once and goes right back to sleep.

What milestones has your baby reached?  She is finally out of preemie clothes and diapers.  She’s 2mos now and officially in newborn.

What is your favorite part of being a parent?

What is your child’s favorite and/or least favorite food?  Soy Formula all day long.

Can you tell us a funny or memorable story about your birth experience?  I labored forever with no progress. Finally went from a 4 to a 10 within 20mins.  When she came out, she was face up. My doctor made me stop pushing so he could get a picture of it.

How did your child get their name?  Micah means “ who is God like”.  Claire is after St. Claire which is the Parish my husband grew up in and my In-laws still attend to this day in Haiti. Micah also was the only girl name we agreed on. 🙂
