What were your first thoughts when you saw your baby?  That was quick!

What three words best describe your child?  Strong, sly & sweet

What songs do you sing to your baby?  Dad’s made-up songs involving her name and cuteness.

What books do you read to your baby?  Superhero and Disney princess books.

Does your baby have any nicknames? Where did they come from?  Baby-yah, it comes from  her brother Jax.

What has been the most challenging part of bringing your baby home? What has been the most rewarding part?  Challenge – Monitoring her heart condition and rewarding – defying the expectations of her doctors about her condition

Did you find out the gender of your baby? If so, did you do a special gender reveal?  Yes, dad shot a paintball gun with pink pellets.

What was the best reaction you got when you shared that you were expecting?  Grandpa crying.

How did you tell your family that you were expecting?  Jen’s parents, We did a toast on my dad’s 65th birthdays like we told them for Jax.  We had to just call his parents because they live in Florida.

How did your other children react when they met their new sibling?  Jax cried and didn’t want to be around anyone who was holding her.

If your baby has siblings, how did they respond when they found out they would be getting a new sibling?  He was clueless.

Did anything unexpected happened since your baby came home?  Her cardio defect.

How does your baby sleep at night?  She wakes up multiple times to eat.

What milestones has your baby reached?  She can smile, coo, knows her parent’s voice.

What is your favorite part of being a parent?  Seeing them grow and develop.

What is your child’s favorite and/or least favorite food?  Mama’s milk.

What is your child’s favorite thing to do?  Be held.

Can you tell us a funny or memorable story about your birth experience?  She was born in 13 minutes after pulling up to the hospital door after her Dad was speeding for over an hour.

How did your child get their name?  I had wanted Juliana for a girl name.  Her Dad was going through J names on the internet and picked that name out first.  We needed a K middle name and it was the only one we agreed sounded like it fit with Juliana.
