Fort Wayne Baby Photographer | Brayton

See what Brayton’s parents have to say about their growing boy –

What do you love about being a parent?  It might be cliche but having a child is a completely different kind of love. Both of us rush home to see him after a days work because missing him just feels different than missing each other. Now that he’s getting close to a year old he’s starting to really grow his personality and we’re starting to see ourselves in him more and more. It’s also a joy to see him interact with and explore his surroundings. Seeing him have a ‘first time moment’ is great.
What is your favorite thing about your child?  His adorable giggle. He started giggling/laughing really early and it’s only gotten better.
What words does your child say?  Just the basics
What is new in your child’s life?    Working on teeth #5 and 6 right now. He’s recently starting walking around furniture/the walls of his crib and playard. New food wise, he made out big around Thanksgiving; at Grannie and Papa’s house he got to try a little turkey, greens, mac and cheese, and sweet potato pie, at Grandma and Grandpa’s house he added to is new foods list green bean casserole as well as pumpkin and black raspberry custard pies.
Does your child have a favorite toy, book, song or comfort object?  His current ‘favorite toy’ is anything that can become a car; whether that is a book, piece of cardboard, kleenex box, sandal, or an actual toy car. For a comfort object, he truly is his mother’s child and loves his blanket. His eyes light up the moment he sees it, he’ll share it with you only if you use it to play peek a boo with him (or if you happen to be his big cousin Shyaire).
What is your child’s favorite food?  Started as avocado but right now it’d either be anything that has bananas with it or yogurt.
Tell us your favorite story about your child-   He plays fetch with our husky Sheldon. Started shortly after he was able to pull himself up on things. One morning he was playing in his playard and Sheldon and I were playing fetch with one of his balls right outside. Sheldon somehow tossed the ball inside to Brayton and then started pacing back and forth on the outside because he wasn’t able to get to the ball. Brayton crawls over, picks up the ball, pulls himself up the wall, and then throws the ball. Sheldon instantly snatches the ball up and instead of bring the ball back to me, begins to bring the ball to Brayton. Brayton just laughed and laughed.
